Emmanuel Agbeko Gamor is one of 50 Global Shapers selected globally to attend the World Economic Forum, Davos meeting. Over 3,000 participants including leaders and luminaries such as Sir David Attenborough, Shinzo Abe, Angela Merkel, Prince William, and Jacinda Ardern gathered in Davos for the World Economic Forum‘s Annual Meeting 2019.

Abdul Hayi Moomen comes from Wa in the Upper West Region. He is in his thirties and comes from a large extended family. He completed Ahmadiyya Secondary School in Kumasi and served as a teaching assistant at Tiymba School in Tamale.
In 2004 he graduated from the University of Ghana with a degree in English and Linguistics and then joined the bandwagon in 2005 to travel abroad to seek greener pastures and further his education.Abdul returned to Ghana in 2009 and joined Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) the same year. He’s worked with Diamond FM, a private radio station in Tamale as a host of the station’s flagship drive time program. This program involved conducting interviews on issues that were political, economic, entertaining, and cultural combined with satire and musicals.

GBC Broadcasting began in Ghana on July 31, 1935, from a wired relay station opened in Accra. The brain behind the introduction of broadcasting into the country was the then Governor of the Gold Coast, Sir Arnold Hodson, affectionately known as the “Sunshine Governor”.
GBC operates GTV (a channel for events that matter most to Ghanaians), which is broadcast nationwide on the analog terrestrial platform. Additionally, GBC runs five digital channels namely, GTV Sports+ (a channel for sports), GBC 24 (a 24-hour news TV channel) and GTV Life (a religion and culture channel), GTV Govern (a governance channel), Obonu TV (a channel for the people of Greater Accra and window for the Ga-Dangbe) and ten regional and five district radio stations in Ghana.
